Commonplace-book, 1711-1727.

Commonplace-book kept by Thomas Robie, Harvard tutor and later a physician, from 1711-19. The entries are chiefly medical, noting recipes, catalogs of diseases and their treatments, and extensive notes on common maladies, including smallpox. Other entries include notes on astronomy with astronomical observations (1714-17), history, physics, predestination, and weather.
